Mixing Bowl Lift
BTM/250/2900/B/G
Mixing Bowl Lift Description
This single pillar mixing bowl lift is designed to lift and tip a mixing bowl at a discharge height of 2900mm. The mixing bowl lift is constructed from Grade 304 stainless steel and is fully TIG welded throughout. Lifting with the mixing bowl lift is achieved by a ¾” Simplex chain driven by a motor gearbox mounted at the top of the main column. This mixing bowl lift is designed to be bolted to the floor.
Safety Guard to PD 5304:2005 Safety of Machinery
The safety guard is constructed from 40 x 40 x 3mm stainless steel box section and 2mm stainless steel sheet to meet the requirements of PD 5304:2005 Safety of Machinery. It would enclose the mixing bowl lift to a height of 2200mm on three sides with a hinged door on the fourth side. The guard door is electrically and mechanically interlocked preventing the mixing bowl lift from operating with the door open. In addition, the guard door can only be opened when the lifting carriage is at the full down position. The mixing bowl lift control system has provision for a ‘Call for Product’ signal to be connected.

Mixing Bowl Lift Application Story
This guarded mixing bowl lift has a discharge height of 2900mm. It is designed to tip dough from the mixing bowl into a stocking hopper mounted above a Rondo Doge Dough Depositor. The mixing bowl lift has an automated tipping cycle so that the operator can load a bowl, press the ‘Start’ button and then be usefully employed elsewhere whilst the tipping cycle is completed. There was an audible alarm to notify the operator once the tipping cycle was complete.
