Pallet Weighing Platform Description
This pallet weighing platform is designed to be loaded from the front using a hand
pallet truck. The pallet weighing platform is constructed from Grade 304 stainless
steel and is a fully TIG welded construction. The pallet weighing platform can be
fitted with a variety of load measuring equipment depending on specific requirements.
The standard pallet weighing platform has Toledo load cells and a Ian Fellows Lucid
display unit. All of the electrical equipment is mounted in enclosures rated to
at least IP65. To weigh a container the operator simply loads the IBC into the pallet
weighing platform and the weight will be displayed.

Pallet Weighing Platform Application Story
The requirement for this pallet weighing platform was to weigh various Plastic IBC’s
to allow the contents to be metered out or for filling purposes. Given that the
filled IBC and its contents were sold, the pallet weighing platform was Trade Stamped.
The IBC’s were loaded onto the pallet weighing platform by a hand pallet truck and
the low level design of the weigh platform accommodated this. The pallet weighing
platform was fixed to the floor using M16 Chemical Anchor Bolts and the weigh indicator
was mounted at the back of the unit.
