Single Column Lifter Description
The single column lifter is designed to lift and tip a 200 Litre tote bin at a discharge height of 3330mm. The single column lifter is constructed from Grade 304 stainless steel, is fully TIG welded throughout and will operate on a 'dead mans handle' principle. Lifting with the single column lifter is achieved by a ¾” Simplex chain driven by a motor gearbox mounted at the top of the main column. The single column lifter lift frame was fitted with a tipping chute to ensure no spillage at the full tip position and there was also a magnetic interlock switch fitted to the column to ensure the machine was positioned correctly prior to tipping taking place. The single column lifter was designed to be mobile on two fixed and two swivel braked castors.

This single column lifter is a simple mobile machine that was used to load product into a vibratory conveyor. The single column lifter was mobile so that it could be moved away from the rest of the production line when cleaning was carried out.
