Wheelie Bin Tipper Description
The wheelie bin tipper is a single pillar tipper that is designed to lift and tip
a 120 Litre Wheelie Bin at a discharge height of 1000mm. The wheelie bin tipper
is constructed from Grade 304 stainless steel, is fully TIG welded throughout and
will operate on a 'dead mans handle' principle. Lifting with the wheelie bin tipper
is achieved by a ¾” Simplex chain driven by a motor gearbox mounted at the top of
the main column. The wheelie bin tipper is designed to be bolted to the floor.

Wheelie Bin Tipper Application Story
This wheelie bin tipper was manufactured to be installed in a building to discharge
residents Wheelie Bin waste into a waste chute. There was a wheelie bin tipper installed
at each of the eight levels in the building and all were electrically interlocked
with the Waste Management System so that if one wheelie bin tipper was being operated,
the waste chute could not be opened at another level. The operator was also able
to communicate with the Waste Management System in terms of what type of waste was
being discharge i.e. Glass, Paper or General Waste.
